By the recognition and permission of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal and Gujarat Government the first academic session started from academic year 2004 - 2005 with the intake of 100 students. The college has all required sophisticated facilities in the large educational campus. This college have sufficient classrooms, a conference hall with the capacity of 150 students equipped  with audio-visual equipments, seminar hall, computerized library with more than 500 books, 150 CD-ROMs and 45 educational periodicals. Computer lab have 25 computer system connected with LAN and Internet. Educational Technology lab is also equipped with modern technology equipments. As we are having these facilities in our college so this college is model teacher education college of Gujarat State .

The college is having qualified teaching staff. The teaching faculties are preparing the audio-visual material with the help of computer and they are using it to deliver lectures. This material will prove the best revision of the classroom teaching and can basically utilized for distance learning programme.

Management is committed for developing this college as a modal college for educational training of Gujarat State .
